COMMITTED TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE

THE BEAUTY OF TARPON WOODS

We are an advocacy group comprised of your neighbors representing the communities in Tarpon Woods and are deeply concerned about the future of our community. We are not only involved with the saving of the golf course or the correction of our flooding problems but with all things that are now or will be in the future that effect our community.

We are able to bring valuable information to the county officials, through first hand experiences and long term knowledge of the Tarpon Woods Community. The members of the committee have substantial combined experience in the fields of business, law; including land use, engineering, marketing, and real estate. Absent a Home Owners Association we have taken these steps to have a voice with our County Goverment, which a HOA would have.

It is our intent to keep you informed about issues concerning Tarpon Woods, give the community a forum to discuss solutions, and with the community’s support, continue to professionally and courteously apply pressure at all levels of government to find short and long term solutions to issues that effect the Tarpon Woods Community. Our organization hopes to give the community a strong and powerful voice that will expedite resolutions to our issues, continuing to making Tarpon Woods a great place to live.

The issues we are currently monitoring are:

  1. Incorporation of  the Unincoporated areas of Palm Harbor.
  2. Sidewalk completion project from the east side of the Brooker Creek Bridge to East Lake Road.
  3. Preserving  the Golf Course to maintain property values.
  4. Facilitate a solution to the flooding issue that plagues a limited number of streets within our community.
  5. Request by owner to rezone 800 Tarpon Woods Blvd from Business Residential to a Commercial property.
  6. Proposed construction of Townhomes off Ridgemoor Blvd.
